YoYo Honey Singh Chartbuster Song "Makhna" Crossed 200 Million Views

The YoYo Honey Singh chartbuster song Makhna had crossed over 200 million views on YouTube making it one of the most heard songs across the globe in the last 5 months. The song was released by the singer and music composer days before Christmas last year on 21st December.

This marked a dream comeback for the singer who was on a short sabbatical. The song also featured a soundtrack by Neha Kakkar along with Singhsta, Allistair, Sean, and Pinaki.

The song released under the label of T-Series is on the top of the list, unbeatable, for almost 5 months since it's the initial release. The singer also riding on the wave of success has been bagging numerous awards. YoYo Honey Singh's Dil Chori had bagged the coveted title of "Song Of The Year" award in a very recent music awards night.

Apart from Dil Chori and Makhna, 2018 witnessed many chartbusters of the music composer like Rangtaari, This Party Is Over Now and Chote Chote Peg. All these songs had a peppy and chilling underscore prompting the masses to jump into the dance floor.

Honey Singh's debut Bollywood song was in the 2011 film Shakal Pe Mat Ja which featured Gagan Sidhu. He charged a record 7 million for a song in the film Mastan, the highest ever paid for a Bollywood song.

Honey Singh also went on to bag PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Male Debut for his cameo appearance in 2012 Punjabi film Mirza - The Untold Story. He played the role of a gangster in the movie.

The songwriter also had come under serious criticism for his lyrics depicting violence against women post the heinous Delhi gang rape case. Later, YoYo Honey Singh denied the allegations of penning down the lyrics. On the work front for this current year, the singer is prepping for a full swing of releases which would be targeting the youngsters.
