It has been a long journey since The Jonas Brothers marked their initial appearance in 2005. Three young boys have made their name as one of the most successful pop bands at that time. From sold out arenas to a bunch of awards and countless top hits, the trio who were at their peak broke fans’ heart into pieces by announcing their split up in 2013. 

After breaking up, the youngest one, Nick Jonas signed to Island Records and released his first single as a solo artist Jealous in 2014. In regard of his personal life, the singer lately has tied the knot with Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas last 2018.

Meanwhile, Joe Jonas became a part of another band named DNCE with their biggest hit Cake by the Ocean. He has been in the relationship with Sophie Toner from Games Of Thrones, and the couple is going to get married this summer 2019.

The eldest of the siblings, Kevin Jonas, decided to pursue his passions apart from music. After co-founding a real estates company in 2013, he found his way into the mobile apps world. Kevin and his wife Danielle Jonas have two daughters Valentina and Alena.

While we’re getting used to the Jonas Brothers as individual instead of a trio, the three siblings one more time cause everyone shocked. In February 2019, the band has confirmed their reunion and the new band name is only JONAS. It’s a long journey with a lot of ups and downs. At The Starting Line

In 2005, the three siblings of the Jonas signed to Columbia Records and officially became a music band under the name The Jonas Brothers. However, their debut album, It’s About Time flopped. They then signed to Hollywood Records two years later.

One Appearance Changed Everything

In August 2007, good luck came to the band after their appearance on an episode of Hannah Montana. One week later, their second album reached No.5 on the Billboard chart. They also joined Miley Cyrus, who was Nick’s girlfriend at that time, on her Best of Both Worlds tour in the same year.

A Storm In Times Square

After being on tour with Miley Cyrus, the band headed to the stardom world and promptly released their third album A Little Bit Longer in 2008. The release party took place in Times Square, NYC, and the reaction was beyond overwhelming. The trio was always surrounded by the crowd no matter where they were.

DCOM Debut

Along with Demi Lovato, the trio made their debut in the movie Camp Rock (2008) on Disney Channel Original Movie. It remains the third position among the most-viewed DCOM of all time. The film launched Demi into the international stardom and boosted the name of the Jonas Brothers. They also starred in the sequel Rock 2: The Final Jam released in September 2010.

Very Close To The Grammy

Getting a nomination for Best New Artist Grammy Award in 2009, the band was just one step ahead of their first Grammy Award ever. However, they lost the award to the Adele, who was relatively new at that moment.

The Sudden Split

In October 2013, few days after suddenly cancelling their tour and deactivating the official Twitter account, the band announced their split up which made thousands of their fan speechless. They decided to end up their eight-year journey due to “a deep rift within the band.” While Kevin said in an individual interview that it was their time to stop, Nick also said that “it was a tough conversation.”

They’re Back

It was unbelievable we can see three of them on the same stage after five years. However, it’s real. The siblings have confirmed the news of their reunion and their latest single Sucker. Joe took to his Twitter saying, “We’re baaaccckkkk…”. It is such the most significant news of the year.
