Jonas Brothers’ Second Single “Cool” Is Out, But Its Lyrics Set The Fans On Fire

Just a few weeks after the newly reformed group Jonas Brothers launched their uber-catchy single “Sucker,” they continue to share their second track “Cool” together with a music video. The trio once again established themselves as a force to be reckoned with.

Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas, this time, focused on self-confidence and sang about their good fortune in love and life.

For the uninitiated, the MV which was shot in Miami depicts them performing on the beach, partying on yachts. The trio also utilized the location to pay tribute to the Miami Vice with colorful outfits, a lot of blazers and visors.

Lyrically speaking, “Cool” doesn’t focus on romance as “Sucker” but does have references to their significant partners. The clearest is a reference to Game of Thrones star a.k.a Joe Jonas’ fiancée Sophie Turner in a line reading “Sittin' that way like it's Game of Thrones.”

Indeed, the lyrics of the song have apparent references to Nick’s ladylove Priyanka Chopra. The lyrics mention the “red dress on ya” and “a Killer Queen like Jane Fonda” and interestingly little do we know that Priyanka in their wedding celebrations donned a long flowing red gown which might catch the eyes of Nick. It probably made a strong impression on him.

The whole Jonas family also went on to promote this new single, including Nick Jonas’ wife, Priyanka Chopra.
