Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has just tied the know with his long-time girlfriend Cherry Seaborn in a secret and “tiny winter wedding”, a publication reported on Thursday. “Ed got married a few days before Christmas. It was very quiet -- just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family and the priest,” a close friend let slip.
The best-selling artists met Cheery Seaborn when he was still a child in Suffolk, but until 2015 their love has blossomed. According to The Sun, Ed Sheeran’s wedding under the presence of only 40 close-knit friend and family members.
“He wanted no fuss, and he wanted it to be something entirely for them - a tiny winter wedding,” an insider said.
However, the singer and his wife are planning for a wedding celebration under the theme of “festival-style party” as early as this summer.
Earlier, the England singer announced his engagement through an Instagram post in January 2018.
The wedding wishes have started pouring in from the couple’s fans all around the world.
