Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (Maleficent 2) is scheduled to release 0n October 18, 2019. The sequel of Maleficent is around three women, Maleficent, Queen Ingrith, and Princess Aurora. They are at the centre of a fight for control between humans and fairies. Angelina Jolie stars in the sequel as the dark fairy godmother of Aurora, the queen of fairies, played by Elle Fanning.

The battle happened when Aurora decided to engage with Prince Phillip without the permission of her Godmother - The Maleficent.
