There are some items that every woman has in her wardrobe, clothes she can wear again and again or jewelry that matches any outfits. However, among those that are actually utilizable, many have long outlived their usefulness.
Either they have become unfit, or no longer trendy, these things are gathering dust and taking up space of new clothes that you actually like. So, put aside your nostalgia, take out a few boxes, because it's time to tidy up that wardrobe of yours.
Old footwear
We don't always know when to ditch a pair of old sneakers, or these high-heels, or those slippers. You wear them less and less, and at one point, you banished them to your closet and they take up space of the ones that you actually enjoy wearing. Look for the ones that no longer fit, in style or have been worn out with time, and chuck them in the bin.
Dresses that no longer fit
Most of us once have a wardrobe of amazing clothing that we just can’t get rid of, despite the fact that it has not fitted in over a year, and probably never will. They may have been gifted to you by a friend, or you bought them for a special occasion.
And although these dresses still might look absolutely stunning, and you can't bring yourself to throw them away, you can't hesitate. Once you buy a new, trendy gown, you'll never look back.
Bras that are too small
It's difficult to let go of your favorite bra. Finding a good bra is such a tedious task, so it's easy to hold onto those that fit you well for a little too long. However, old bras can cause bodily harm, so consider letting them go immediately.
The socks that got away
Have you ever experienced the mystery of the lost socks? Somehow someway, you would end up with socks that are suddenly without a mate. Still, instead of discarding them, we hold on to them in our closets. Then we get agitated every time we put them on and are unable to find the matching piece. To save you from the unnecessary frustration, dispose of orphan socks right now.
Expired makeup
You might be surprised to hear this, but makeup has a shelf life. Many cosmetics only last for about 3~6 months, and using the expired ones on your skin is definitely ill-advised. Check the box and throw anything that has past their due date, because they may do more harm than good.
