Bradley Cooper won his very first Grammy award this year, though he has his own reason to not attend the music's biggest ceremony taking place this Sunday.
Instead of being seen in LA, where the 61st annual Grammy awards will take place, Bradley, is now across the pond to attend the British Academy Film Awards held in London. The actor accompanied by his ladylove Irina Shayk was seen walking the carpet.
For those unversed, Cooper’s box office hit A Star Is Born scored seven awards, comprising of best film, adapted screenplay, leading director, and actor. Bradley, on the other hand, took to the stage to receive a trophy for Original Music.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga is about to represent the movie with Shallow which is a duet with Bradley Cooper from the movie, earned four Grammy nominations, comprising of the Song of the year and the coveted record. The hit has also won the best song award at the Critics Choice Awards 2019 and best original song at the Golden Globes 2019.
Even though Bradley won’t be seen in the attendance at Grammys, he and Lady Gaga will be sharing the stage to perform Shallow at the 2019 Oscars, and he is now feeling pressured.
Cooper, in interaction with Extra, bared his heart about singing at the Oscars this year.
However, it will not be their first live performance as Cooper earlier joined Lady Gaga onstage while attending her residency show in Las Vegas last month. The surprising performance happened in the middle of the show. Addressing the throng, the star remarked,
Bradley Cooper agreed and took the stage where the duo gave each other a hug and Gaga led her co-star to the piano.
CBS is airing the 2019 Grammy Awards from Staples Center in LA on 10 Feb at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT.
