Joe Alwyn Walks The Academy Awards Red Carpet Without Taylor Swift

Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift have been keeping their relationship out of the spotlight since the couple first began seeing each other. Therefore, when it comes to an award ceremony, fans are always excited to see their favourite couple walking the red carpet together. Sadly, it seems that the lovebirds decided to wait a bit longer since Joe Alwyn made an appearance with Nicholas Hoult, his co-star in the film The Favorite, on the Academy Awards red carpet instead of with his singer girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Considering Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn virtually refused to speak about their relationship and are rarely spotted together, it is understandable that they did not walk the red carpet together tonight. In a recent interview, the actor shared that he just wanted to keep this conversation only about his work, not about his love life.

While Taylor did not accompany Joe on the Oscars red carpet, the beautiful singer previously graced an Oscars pre-party with him on Friday night, looking gorgeous in a black sequin dress with a very low back.

Talking about their work, Joe Alwyn played the role of Samuel Masham in the historical comedy movie The Favorite, which was nominated for 10 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Director. The film is against Roma, Black Panther, Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star Is Born. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift is now busy filming Cats, the film adaption of the famous musical.

Although the couple did not arrive together, we can hope that Taylor Swift will show up at one of the after-parties tonight to celebrate with her man.
