Meanwhile, on the professional front, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to share the screen space in ’83. In the film, Ranveer will be getting into the skin of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev while Deepika will be essaying his on-screen wife Romi Dev.

The couple has previously driven fans crazy with their sizzling chemistry in Bajirao Mastani and Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. Directed by Kabir Khan and also featuring Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi in supporting roles, ’83 will hit the cinema on 10 April 2020.

Apart from ’83, both the actors also have their other interesting projects lined-up. Ranveer Singh is a part of Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Takht while Deepika Padukone will also be seen in Chhapaak in which she will be playing the role of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
