On the professional front, Deepika Padukone will be the lead lady of Chhapaak directed by Meghna Gulzar. It is a movie based on the real incident of an acid attack and the survivor called Laxmi Agarwal. It is scheduled to go on floors in early 2020.

Also, the star will be seen opposite hubby Ranveer in ’83, a Kabir Khan directorial. The movie is all set to be out in April next year.
