Besides Deepika and Ranveer, the film cast is revealed to have Jiiva, Ammy Virk, Hardy Sandhu, Pankaj Tripathi, and many others.

Along with '83, Deepika has recently finished shooting her upcoming film: Chhapaak. Directed by Meghna Gulzar and starring Deepika and Vikrant Massey, Chhapaak is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal and her journey from a victim to the founder of Stop Sale Acid, a campaign against acid violence and sale of acid.

Chhapaak will hit theaters on January 10, 2020.
