Bhaijaan of Bollywood Salman Khan is gearing up to come back to the silver screen after a one-year hiatus with the film Bharat. Everything about the movie from the behind-the-scenes pictures to the latest posters soon sets the Internet on fire. Salman annually gives his fans an Eid treat and this year is no exception. The film is bound to rewrite all the records of the box office history.
However, according to our observation, Bharat’s release date which is 5 June is likely to coincide with the first match of the Indian cricket team in the World Cup where the national team will take on the competitive South African team. The match is set to begin at 3 p.m. and will go on till midnight which means many people will choose to watch the battle rather than Salman’s film. That will undoubtedly impact the first day collections of the film. Is there any cricket fan wanting to miss this much-awaited event?
Not only the opening day but on 9 June the film will face another competition as India will compete against Australia. For the uninitiated, Cricket and Bollywood exist parallel as two religions. It’s fascinating when seeing Salman fans will choose to support their idol or cheer for the national team.
Speaking of Bharat, the film is the remake of a Korean blockbuster An Ode To My Father, and it will be featuring Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Sunil Grover, Nora Fatehi and Disha Patani in the lead roles. The film also marks the third collaboration of the actor-director duo Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar after Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan.
