Deepika Padukone On Shooting With Marvel's Star Scarlett Johansson: They Didn't Talk About "Avengers: Endgame"

Avengers: Endgame's lead role Scarlett Johansson, Padmaavat star Deepika Padukone reunited with other actresses around the globe in a shot for the cover of a top fashion magazine. The Bollywood influencer shared her first thoughts about Scarlett Johansson.

This April, one of the top fashion magazines around the globe will publish their special paper having the appearance of 16 prominent female actors all around the world including Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, Marvel's beauty Scarlett Johansson, and Jupiter Ascending's star Bae Doona.

During an interview with Film Companion, Deepika surprisingly shared that she and Scarlett said nothing about Avengers since she isn't an Avengers' fan. Also, Deepika revealed that talking about film's characters is never what she will do when meeting other actors. Therefore, the two ladies said nothing about their role in Avengers: Endgame and Padmaavat.

Deepika stated, “I’m more interested in getting to know someone beyond the obvious and beyond what someone else would have access to. Also, a large part of me does these things organically. I don’t have questions in my head or a plan in my head like, ‘When I meet her, it will be like this…’ It was very honest and organic. She asked me a lot about India. In fact, we didn’t talk much about the film at all.” The XXX: Return of Xander Cage star interestingly said that Avengers star was very fond of India. Therefore, Deepika talked much about her hometown.

It can be said that Avengers: Endgame is one of the most-awaited of MCU in 2019. The movie featuring Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Brie Larson, Chris Hemsworth, and Robert Downey Jr will hit the box office on April 26, 2019.

About Deepika, she is preparing to introduce the next movie titled Chappaak also featuring Vikrant Massey. Meghna Gulzar, the genius director of the blockbuster Raazi (starring Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt), will be in charge of directing and co-producing Chappaak. Chappaak will hit the screen on 09 Dec 2019.
