Vicky Kaushal And Bhumi Pednekar To Feature In KJO’s Horror Flick "Bhoot"

"Bhoot" is the first horror franchise for Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.

Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar will be seen together in Karan Johar, Dharma Production's first horror franchise Bhoot-Part One: The Haunted Ship. The film is under post productions and is slated for release on November 15 this year.

The script is written by Bhanu Pratap Singh and will be jointly produced by Karan, Hiroo Johar, Shashank Khaitan, and Apoorva Mehta. Based on a ship, the movie gives a good dose of VFX. The moviemakers approached Ram Gopal Varma for the title rights of Bhoot which was released under RGV banners in 2003.

Dharma Productions known for its romantic and family entertainers is all set to enter the horror franchise. Sources believe that more such movies are in the fray for the upcoming release this year.

While speaking to a daily, Shashank Khaitan said,

It will be a second movie for Vicky Kaushal with the banner, and if sources are to be believed, Vicky has given a top-notch performance in his first-time horror flick.

The movie revolves around the nightmares which begin on the ship. The first look of the film was released by Dharma Productions and Karan Johar on Twitter. Ram Gopal Varma acknowledged the poster and congratulated Karan Johar for the film. We will have to wait and watch when Vicky axes the devil.
