Varun Dhawan On The Failure Of "Kalank": "I Will Take Part Of The Blame As Well"

Varun Dhawan shared his thought when Kalank turned out to not do well at the box office, saying it’s wrong to blame it on the director and producer.

While a movie can earn an actor the peak of success, sometimes it could turn out to be a disappointment, too. The movie Kalank, starring Varun Dhawan, didn’t perform well in terms of the box office. And though his performance in the film was appreciated, Varun said that the failure of the movie did affect him.

The film also sees the featuring of Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, and Madhuri Dixit Nene.

However, Varun Dhawan is not going to let himself dawdle in this. He will be part of quite a lot of forthcoming projects in the next year, namely Coolie No.1, the hit of his father released in 1995, and Street Dancer 3D. What is interesting is, ever since the start of Varun’s career, he has affirmed that the film list of his will be a mixture of diverse genres.

Talking about how to maintain the variety, he said,
