Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, who have come quite a long way in the motion picture industry, both debuted in Student of The Year which was released in 2012. Over the past few years, the two have been seen together in a number of movies. Currently, Varun and Alia are enjoying a fascinating period in their work-life because the actors are preparing for flicks that are helmed by their fathers.
Alia is working on Mahesh Bhatt directorial Sadak 2. It is the second part of the 1991 film Sadak. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan is on the go for Coolie No 1 directed by his father David Dhawan. This flick is a reboot of 1995-released same-name movie.
Recently, Varun Dhawan talked with a bulletin as he shared about how it was to collaborate with his dad one more time after the first one Main Tera Hero. He mentioned that the Coolie No 1 movie is brand new for both of them and the directors belonging to that era know what they aspire their actors to have.
The actor also claimed that as an entertainer, Varun needs to feel a sense of comfort around the filmmaker he collaborates with. Varun has a belief that one can speak their mind with the helmer and vice versa.
On another hand, Alia Bhatt also agrees with Varun Dhawan and added that it is the best to work with your dad. She shared that when her father Mahesh is on the sets, he expects the actors to exhibit their brilliance. Alia added that they never meet anything uncomfortable or hard because the actors really understand their dads. Meanwhile, the Kalank actress also added that if they yell at you while working, they actually do not quite mean that.
