Nora Fatehi has been renowned as the definition of glamorous beauty and multi-talents. In the most recently released List of Top 50 Most Desirable Women of India, Nora Fatehi made it to number 36. Let's together check out the most interesting facts of this ever gorgeous model-actress-dancer.
Nora Fatehi possesses Moroccan origin as her parents are both Moroccan. Her mother is a third-generation Indian. Nora herself was born in Canada and is fluent in Arabic, Hindi, and French, thanks to the multi-cultural nurturing environment. However, she affirmed that she always had “a strange connection” with India and that she feels grateful and wants to prove herself and bring more things to the audience and fans.
In an interview in 2016, the actress shared:
Since her childhood, Nora has always dreamed to be an actress for which is motivation for her coming to Mumbai. The ambitious young girl wanted to challenge herself in modeling. Therefore she signed with Orange Model Management, the famed prestigious model and talent agency in Canada. They recruited her in a flash and sent her to India.
The first movie in which she came as a Bollywood debutant was Roar: Tigers of Sunderbans released in 2014. Although the movie was not a big success, the film critics gave her praises for her acting and many directors laid eyes on her for her outstanding and stunning beauty.
Post this movie, she paved her way into Telugu movies industry with a dance sequence and special appearance in the Temper film directed by Puri Jagannah. It was Telugu industry where she found her true success.
Later in the same year, she appeared opposite Gurmeet Chaudhary and Emraan Hashmi in the sci-fi vigilante movie Mr. X whose director was Vikram Bhatt and producer was Mahesh Bhatt. Nora has gradually carved her name in the hearts of audiences with her acting in plenty of movie projects.
Namely, we have these films that helped Nora build an impressively glamorous and talented image: Baahubali: The Beginning, Kick 2, Sher, Loafer, Malayalam gangster comedy movie Double Barrel.
She appeared on screen as a contestant of Bigg Boss game show in 2015 and was eliminated on the 84th day, after three weeks of competing. Not many know one of the reasons she took part in this show was that she was a totally big fan of Salman Khan.
Besides being a part of Bigg Boss 9 before, she also enrolled in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9. Her constant appearance and contribution to reality shows earned her more recognition and opportunities. She was invited to take part in notable shows such as Entertainment Ki Raat, MTV Dating in the Dark and Top Model India.
Not only a passionate and hardworking actress, but she is also a superb dancer. The 27-year-old star learned belly dance herself, and later became a trained belly dancer without any training from others. She made everyone’s jaw drop and made herself viral for her dancing skills in Temper movie’s dancing sequence.
Furthermore, the actress played the role of a special guest in many music videos.
She was set to debut as a singer in the collaboration with the Morocco-rooted group Fnaire. They published the official remake and Arabic version of Dilbar. The song went viral all around the globe and was the first Hindi song to set the record of achieving more than 20 million views within one day.
Even more talented, Nora Katehi could do her own stunts in movies as she is a pro in mixed martial arts. To maintain a fit body and good metabolism, she frequently hits the gym. Also, she loves reading and has a passion for traveling.
She once dated Angad Bedi, the Indian actor who later tied a knot with Neha Dhupia in 2018. Her old flames also included model-actor Prince Narula and bodybuilder Varinder Ghuman.
