The actress is now looking forward to the release of her second Bollywood offering Marjaavaan which she had signed even before SOTY 2 hit the silver screen.
While Student of The Year 2 saw Tara Sutaria in the role of an ambitious college going girl, Marjaavaan stars her in a totally different avatar.
In the Milap Zaveri directorial, she plays the character of a mute girl called Zoya. Milap reveals that it was her innocence and vulnerability which made him sign Tara Sutaria for his film.
Remembering the day when he met the actress for the very first time, Milap Zaveri says,
The filmmaker goes on to add that Tara submitted herself completely to the character of Zoya and even learnt sign languages to play her part convincingly.
Also starring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Rakul Preet Singh in lead roles, Marjaavaan is one of the most-awaited films of 2019. The trailer and songs of the film have already garnered a positive response from the audience and now, everyone is looking for its release.
Produced by T-Series Films and Emmay Entertainment, Marjaavaan is slated to roll into theatres on 8th November, 2019.
