Taapsee Pannu Wants A Sequel To “Manmarziyaan”

Taapsee Pannu has a number of exciting projects on her platter, and she is equally excited for each one of them. However, she also so wants to be a part of Manmarziyaan 2. Let us tell you that there are no plans to make a sequel to Manmarziyaan (2019) at this moment, but you never know.
Taapsee Pannu, who starred opposite Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan in Manmarziyaan, reveals that director Anurag Kashyap and she keeps pitching a lot of ideas to each other for a sequel to the film.
All those who have seen the Taapsee Pannu starrer would agree that Manmarziyaan ended on a note where it can spawn a second part. When Taapsee Pannu was asked if audiences could expect a sequel to the much-loved film, she said, “Anurag Kashyap and I have pitched a lot of ideas to each other, and we are working on something. This November, we will do a film together but that’s not a love story. It is a supernatural thriller.”
She went on to add, “As far as Manmarziyaan is concerned, it is my first love story and I would love to do more love stories. I am really looking forward to Manmarziyaan 2 but it is all up to Anurag. I keep pushing him to do more fun light-hearted stories. Whatever he does with me will be light. It is not on the cards for now, but only Anand L Rai and Kashyap can confirm if it is happening.”
Meanwhile, Taapsee Pannu is currently looking forward to the release of her next film Mission Mangal. The sci-fi film also stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen and Kirti Kulhari. Directed by debutant Jagan Shakti, the much-awaited film enters theatres on Independence Day on 15th August.
