Taapsee Pannu On Rangoli Chandel's "Sasti Copy" Jibe: "She Can't Play The Nepotism Card With Me"

Game Over star Taapsee Pannu has been in the news after Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel took a dig at the actress on social media by calling her a 'sasti copy' of Kangana Ranaut. Director Anurag Kashyap later jumped into the war of words with Rangoli to defend his friend.

This was followed by Rangoli revealed a ‘double filter’ comment that Taapsee once made on her sister.

Now, during an interview to Mumbai Mirror, the 31-year-old actress opened up about the tiff between her and Rangoli Chandel. According to Taapsee, after Rangoli took that “sasti copy" jibe on her, lots of her industry friends would like to retort, however, she asked them not to do so because she does not want to engage in a word battle.

Also in the interview, Taapsee Pannu set the record straight about her “double filter” comment on Kangana, claiming that she never meant it in a derogatory manner.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Taapsee Pannu is currently preparing for Mission Mangal opposite Akshay Kumar. Based upon Mars mission of India, the film revolves around a group of scientist from Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO), who make great contribution to the success of India's first interplanetary expedition, Mars Orbiter Mission.  The film is slated to hit the cinema on 15^th August.

After that, Taapsee Pannu will be seen in Saand Ki Aankh with Bhumi Pednekar, which is expected to release on 20^th October. In the film, she will be getting into the skin of elderly shooter Prakashi Tomar.
