Sriram Raghavan Reveals To Have Written A New Film For Ayushmann Khurrana

Filmmaker Sriram Raghavan first teamed up with Ayushmann Khurrana for “Andhadhun”, which turned out to be a massive hit at the box-office. It recently received the prestigious National Film Award for Khurrana.

Filmmaker Sriram Raghavan is delighted that his last directorial venture Andhadhun (2018) did not only appeal to audiences upon its release but also managed to impress the juries of the 66th National Film Awards. The suspense thriller recently received the National Award for Best Screenplay and Best Actor for Ayushmann Khurrana, who delivered an edge-of-the-seat performance in it.

Sriram Raghavan, who is mostly known for his suspense thrillers, said that he felt very good when he got the news about Andhadhun winning two National Awards.


When asked about his next film, he confirmed his association for a thriller for producer Ramesh Taurani.


And about working with Ayushmann Khurrana once again in future, the director revealed to have written a new film for the actor.


Ayushmann Khurrana is presently busy with the promotion of his upcoming film Dream Girl. He will then be seen in Maddock Films Bala with Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam. His next release will be Gulabo Sitabo which reunites him with Vicky Donor (2012) filmmaker Shoojit Sircar.

The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. The actor has also teamed up with producer Aanand L Rai for a sequel to Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), titled Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.
