Sonakshi Sinha: “I Felt Like I Just Returned Home On The First Day Of “Dabangg 3” Shoot”

Sonakshi Sinha is glad that she is ending 2019 with a super successful film in her kitty – “Dabangg 3”. Released on 20th December, the movie has been doing terrific business at the box-office.

Sonakshi Sinha is delighted that she is ending 2019 with a super successful film like Dabangg 3 (2019). Co-starring Salman Khan, Kichcha Sudeep and debutante Saiee Manjrekar, the film hit the marquee on 20th December and has been doing great business ever since. It has already crossed the much-coveted Rs. 100 crore mark and is set to earn big in coming days.

When asked how nostalgic she felt while shooting her first scene for Dabangg 3 after making her debut with the first instalment of the franchise almost a decade ago, Sonakshi Sinha said that she just felt like returning home.

“(I felt) very much (nostalgic). In fact, the uniqueness of the franchise is that from part 1 to part 3, all the crew members have remained the same. Our DOP, camera man for Dabangg is also there in Dabangg 3, his crew and team is still with him. Most of our Assistant Directors are same from start to the present, so it’s a beautiful feeling. It feels as if you have come back to your family and working with them again. It has been a beautiful journey. When we started part 3, we had started it with “Hud Hud Dabangg” song. It was my first day of shoot and it just felt like, ‘Wow, I just returned home.”

Upon being asked what would be her reaction if the makers do not cast her in Dabangg 4, she retorted, “But why will it be as I am constant for all the three films? And why is a new Rajjo? If there is a new Rajjo, then there will be new Chulbul Pandey too,” Sonakshi Sinha said in conclusion.
