Singer Sona Mohapatra Takes A Dig At Anu Malik As He Is Set To Return To TV

As Anu Malik is all set to return to TV as a guest on kid's show 'Superstar Singer', Sona Mohapatra took to Twitter to slam the musician and the channel.

The MeToo movement strengthened in the Indian entertainment industry last year and has given opportunities to many female celebrities to open up about their horrible experience of sexual misconduct at workplace. One of the big names came into the spotlight was no other than musician Anu Malik who faced allegations of sexual harassment to some singers and actresses.

Post that, Sony Channel made an official announcement that they already excluded the musician from Indian Idol. Later, superstar singer Sona Mohapatra took to her social media handle to show her concerns.

Now, when Anu Malik is all set to make a return to the small screen as a special guest on kid’s reality show Superstar Singer, Sona Mohapatra once again raised her voice against him on the social media.

In one tweet, Sona wrote,

Then she pasted some quotes of singer Shweta Pandit and others who made allegations of sexual misbehavior against the musician as a way to remind him of the reason for “being out of work”.

Sona did not stop there as she went on to question the channel for having him on the show,

Last year, Sona Mohapatra also joined the MeToo movement as she decided to break her silence to share her ordeals to the whole world. In a series of tweet, Sona accused singer Kailash Kher of sexually harassing her.
