Siddharth Pithani, flatmate of Sushant Singh Rajput is standing number one co-conspirator as the locksmith revealed he was called by Pithani but wasn’t allowed to open the door.

Last week, Sushant Singh Rajput family lawyer claimed that they would name Siddharth Pithani, friend and flatmate of the late actor as a co-conspirator for his dubious behaviors. With the statements from the locksmith who was called to open the locked door in Sushant’s bedroom, Pithani is once again suspected to get involved in the unnatural death of the Dil Bechara star.

An unnamed locksmith in Bandra had been called to the sixth-floor apartment on the day Sushant was found dead. The locksmith was considered a crucial witness in the SSR case as he was in the house with three or four others at that time. Here’s the full narration from the locksmith.

The locksmith was called to Sushant's apartment to break the lock but not open the door.

Siddharth allowed him 5-7 min to break the lock

The locksmith got a call at 1:05 pm on June 14 that someone needed him to open a lock. He didn’t know who was the caller at first but he knew that was Siddharth Pithani after pictures emerged online throughout the case. He said Siddharth called him and sent him a photo of a cylinder lock that had a computerized key. This door could be locked from the inside without the key but couldn’t be unlocked from the outside without it.

The locksmith told Siddharth it would be long to make a key so he suggested breaking the lock. Siddharth agreed, requesting him to do it within 5 to 7 minutes.

Siddharth stopped him from opening the door

When the locksmith reached Sushant Singh Rajput flat, there were three to four people there. He didn’t know anyone of them. He went straight to the work, breaking the lock and gently pressed the handle to open the door.

Siddharth Pithani often created the impression that Sushant died by suicide.

At that time, Siddharth stopped him, not letting him open the door and telling the locksmith to collect his tools to leave. The locksmith was brought downstairs by one of the four people in the house at that time. He got paid Rs. 2,000 for the work.

Siddharth was calm when calling the locksmith

The locksmith also revealed that Siddharth didn’t sound scared when calling him at all. Siddharth only told him that there was someone sleeping inside and not opening the door for a long time.

The locksmith had no idea who was inside the room, thinking that was an elderly.

After Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his room, some policemen asked the locksmith who called him to the house. He reported the same. A few days later, he was called another time to the Bandra police station to record statements and that’s all.

Siddharth Pithani emerged as a prime suspect

Lawyers said that should the statements from this locksmith be true, Siddharth Pithani would become the prime suspect because he didn’t seem to rush in opening the door after the locksmith broke it.

The house help Neerja also confirmed it’s Siddharth Pithani who opened the door and cut the rope so that Sushant’s body fell onto the bed. Sushant’s family started to doubt this friend when he changed his attitude after Sushant's father filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty.

What’s more, as per previous reports, none of Sushant’s sim cards was registered under his name but Siddharth Pithani was named in one of the cards.
