"Kabir Singh": Furious Shahid Kapoor Blasted Reporter Who Repeatedly Asked Kiara Advani About Kissing Scenes

Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's upcoming film Kabir Singh took the internet by storm on Monday when its trailer was released. Fans went crazy over it, being smitten by Shahid and Kiara's flaming chemistry although this movie marked their first collaboration on the silver screen.

Recently, the cast launched the trailer of the film at an event that took place in Mumbai. They both made sure to answer all the questions thrown to them by the media, but there was one specific question that visibly irritated Shahid.

During the trailer, Shahid and Kiara were seen sharing a passionate kiss which immediately grabbed the headlines in the town. According to Times of India, a reporter frankly asked Kiara about the number of kissing scenes in Kabir Singh.

The actress was polite enough by saying she did not keep a count, but the reporter did not leave them alone. Shahid could not stay calm as he spoke out to defend his co-star, asking the reporter:

Shahid was undoubtedly miffed at how the reporter repeatedly mentioned kissing scenes, saying that if someone wants to see Kabir Singh's intimate scenes, then he will have to pay and watch it himself.

Shahid's sassy response was rousingly cheered by the crowd, and the cast moved on to the next question later.

Kabir Singh is a remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, it tells the story of a surgeon who later becomes an alcoholic and drug addict post his break up.

The film is set to hit the theatres on June 21.
