Shah Rukh Khan Finally Pours Out His Thoughts Months After "Zero" Flop

Recently, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a flight to China show up at the Beijing International Film Festival (BIFF). His latest movie, Zero, is one of five Indian films to be on screen during a promotional week at the event. Perhaps, Zero's disappointing result in hometown made SKR more cautious of what viewers from China may give for Aanand L Rai’s work this time.

A few months earlier, Shah Rukh Khan shares the screen space with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in Zero. In reality, however, the main cast had to suffer the tough circumstance when Indian audiences severely disparaged the movie.

According to Anjum Rajabali, due to Zero’s unsuccess, we have hardly heard any thoughts from King Khan even a single word for months. After a long time, it seems that Shah Rukh Khan has stepped out the hard time and he discloses his opinion.

Answering to CGTN China, he said, “I am going to see the film after three months, so for me, it’s very significant, let me go see, maybe I will be able to figure out… what went wrong. ‘Unfortunately, Zero itself wasn’t received too well back home in India; maybe I made the wrong film, perhaps I did not do the right storytelling so I am a little wary how it will be received here and I hope people here will like it.”

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t jump right into any admission soon, several scriptwriters have sent him their works, but it will take time to brood over and not later than June, he will let them know his final decision.

“At this point, I have not decided anything. I think I will decide on the next film that I am going to do by June. I am just listening to films, and I want to spend some time just listening and working on them. So by June, I will be able to take a call on which film I want to do,” Shah Rukh revealed at the film event.
