Sanya Malhotra, known for her memorable performances in such films as Dangal (2016) and Badhaai Ho (2018), has bagged an exciting project.
The newcomer has been roped in to play the daughter of Shakuntala Devi in the forthcoming Hindi film Shakuntala Devi: The Human Computer.
National Film Award-winning actress Vidya Balan is playing Shakuntala Devi in her biopic.

Filmmaker Anu Menon, who is calling the shots for Shakuntala Devi: The Human Computer, said that she could not think of a better person than Sanya Malhotra for the role of Anupama Banerji in her film.

Vidya Balan and the team are currently in London, shooting for the film, while Sanya Malhotra is preparing for her role in Mumbai. She will join the team later this month. Shakuntala Devi: The Human Computer is scheduled to hit the marquee in the summer of 2020.
