We all know that the 53-year-old star shares a strong bond with his daddy and has time and again showed his love for him. During a recent interview with DNA India, Salman Khan shared that he took inspiration from his father to get into the skin of a 70-year-old man in his film Bharat and wanted to look like him when he reaches that age.

While Salim Khan may not be active in the film industry, the iconic screenwriter is still a part of his son’s several film projects. As per the report, Salim Khan suggested trimming down Salman’s film Bharat to under 165 minutes because he felt that the run-time of 3 hours was too long. Salman and the film’s markers agreed with him and followed the suggestion.

Meanwhile, Bharat is enjoying a successful run in cinemas as the film has earned more than Rs 188 crore in just 11 days at the box office. Directed and written by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is a remake of a Korean movie named An Ode To My Father which depicts the history of India through the life of Salman’s character from the age of 18 to 70. It also features Katrina Kaif, Nora Fatehi, Sunil Grover, and Disha Patani.
