Salman Khan recently announced that he would not be able to meet his fans on Eid 2020 with his much-talked-about film Inshallah. But he would arrive with another film instead.
While fans were sad to know that the much-awaited reunion between Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali was not happening anymore, they were equally curious about the new film of the superstar.
There have been rumours aplenty that Salman Khan will release the much-awaited sequel to his 2014 blockbuster Kick on Eid 2020.
However, filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala, who produced and directed the film, has confirmed that his team will not be ready with Kick 2 by next mid-year.
At an event, when Nadiadwala asked about the project, he said, “I have just started writing it. It is not coming on Eid.”
He went on to add that he has informed Salman Khan about the same.
With Sajid Nadiadwala confirming that Kick 2 won’t be able to arrive on Eid 2020, it remains to be seen which new film Salman Khan will release on the festival.
Though his name has been associated with a couple of projects including an official remake of South Korean film Veteran (2015), nothing is official at the moment.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan is presently busy shooting for his hugely anticipated film Dabangg 3.
Directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Arbaaz Khan, the third instalment of the franchise also stars Kichcha Sudeep and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. Dabangg 3 hits screens on 20th December.
