Yesterday was a day full of unforgettable moments of The Indian Premier League (IPL) as yet another season comes to an end by grand finale between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Hyderabad. However, this year's finale held on May 12 became suddenly more prominent and more desirable than ever due to the graceful presence of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Sunil Grover in the studio as a part of the pre-match and post-match.
It is indeed an effective marketing strategy in pursuit of an ideal audience platform for their upcoming mega buster Bharat as its premiere is less than one month away. According to Bollywood Hungama, IPL is one of the biggest and most expensive cricket shows; thus, this source of tremendous advantage fosters their presence here for its promotion in the purpose of approaching and garnering the "maximum eyeballs" for Bharat.
the filmmakers acknowledged:
Apart from doing Bharat's promotional event, the two Bollywood superstars Salman and Katrina also marked their highly anticipated joint appearance by giving their viewpoints as well as predictions on the winner during IPL finale.
Bharat, reportedly, is an official remake of An Ode To My Father, a South Korea's 2014 hit. The movie will take you through the historical journey of India's post-independence from the perspective of a common man and chronicle his life spanning up to six decades. Moreover, it is a unique opportunity for both Salman and Katrina's fandoms as they will contemplate their idols' amazing transformations with six different looks in each historical phase.
In addition to Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Bharat, helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and co-produced by Atul Agnihotri's Reel Life Production & Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, also stars Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, and Disha Patani.
The flick is going to have its premiere on June 6, 2019, which falls on this year's Eid festival.
