Ranveer Singh Spills The Beans About His Relationship With Deepika For The First Time

Long trips, free-flowing romance, unrevealed destinations to going gaga over each other while being interviewed, Deepika and Ranveer soon become one of the nation’s most loved celebrity couples. Every update from them is also the talk of the town. There was nothing dramatic nor pretentious about their love story though.

After six years of dating, the duo finally tied the knot in a picturesque lakeside town, Como, Italy. Their fairytale wedding was thrown in relatively heavy security. With the attendance of families and close friends only, it was probably a wedding we only see in movies or read in mushy novels.

Ranveer was looking forward to getting a nod from Deepika

The desi boy Ranveer, in an interview with Filmfare, bared his heart about the marriage with Deepika and revealed how the actor aims to become a millennial life partner. The star confided that he was waiting for Deepika to give him a nod.

“I’ve been ready for a while. I was just waiting for Deepika to be ready. It would happen whenever she had decided. I was fully ready and raring to go.”

Ranveer set out the reason why they zeroed down in Italy for the nuptials.

The actor, in a statement, finally shared that whatever his ladylove wished, he wanted her to take it as he explained it is the first step to becoming a millennial husband.

“Whatever her vision of getting married, I wanted her to realise it. Whatever she wanted, I was done exactly in that manner. She deserves every bit of it. I too deserve happiness and my happiness comes from her happiness. It’s that simple,” said Ranveer.

He shared he knew Deepika was the one after only six months of dating. “I nurtured the relationship accordingly. It’s been six years now,” the actor added.

He then continued to heap praise on his lady love that she is too lovely, too good and a force of nature.
