Ranveer became a man of a few words as he seemed so emotional that he could barely speak. The video shows him struggling in holding back his tears. He then goes silent for a few seconds, regains the composure and continues.

It’s not an overstatement to say that the public persona of Ranveer Singh is a maverick as he always displays a free spirit in his choice of clothes or overall demeanor. However, a lot of people might not know a quieter side of his personality. The fact is that his newly married wife Deepika Padukone is the one who pointed out right after the wedding.

A recent interview of Ranveer is making news as the public saw another image of the star which is sober, emotional and even tearful.

During the interview, the actor shared about his feelings when reaching the pinnacle of the career and being a successful actor with several box office hits is surreal. He also said he is now living his dream as an actor.

He then added that collaborating with stars like Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Govinda whom he has looked up feels like wish fulfillment.

Ranveer also shared how certain characters can scar any actor physically and emotionally. He considers Khilji of Padmaavat as such character. Reports also suggested that he locked himself in his room for a few days to immerse in that zone. Playing that character is reportedly by far the toughest role for him.

The Simmba star also shared how Shanoo Sharma reacted to his performance in the film Bajirao Mastani. For the uninitiated, Sharma is the one discovering him and Singh added that she couldn’t believe that the one playing Peshwa Bajirao in Sanjay Leela Bhansali-director film is the guy she knew a long time back.
