Ranveer Singh Literally Stapled His Stomach For A Scene In "Lootera"

Ranveer Singh is among the top notched actors of the B-town and since day 1 when he debuted in Band Baaja Baarat, he has hardly stopped striking gold. Recently, he has been preparing for his upcoming movie ’83 which is a Kapil Dev biopic and in a new talk with a daily, the actor opened up on how he ushered in for Lootera.

It was undoubtedly astonishing to hear that Ranveer actually stapled his stomach and even went through a whole process in order to depict the pain he has to endure in one part of the film.

He kept on and unveiled that he did not know he was coming to that decision for Lootera. According to Ranveer, it was for his uncomfortableness with his craft along with nervousness and insecurity that made him want to carry out much more to earn a certain effect that sometimes you may even harm yourself.

He wouldn’t have done it now because he knows that there are more efficient methods to do it. At that time, he was thinking to himself that he had never got shot, but he was going to be shot in the movie. He wondered how would he deliver the real kind of pain on the screen?

Besides ’83 which also stars Ranveer’s wifey Deepika Padukone, he will soon start filming for Divyang Thakkar’s film Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
