Ranveer Singh, who is preparing for his upcoming film ’83, was recently spotted at Mumbai airport with his on-screen cricket team as they were about to go to London for their first shooting schedule.

In the photos, the entire cast of ’83 looked dapper in the same crisp suit with blue ties while happily posing for the paparazzi waiting at the airport. Check out their photos below!

Before start shooting for the movie, the ’83 team had to prepared hard and even went through rigorous training for  under the former Indian cricketer Balwinder Singh Sandhu. Ranveer also stayed at Kapil Dev's house for 10 days as a part of his learning process.

Directed by Kabir Khan, ’83 is the biopic of one of India’s legendary cricketers Kapil Dev. The film will follow his journey from his childhood days to the time when he became the captain of Indian cricket team and brought the 1983 Cricket World Cup trophy home. It is slated to hit the cinema on on 10 April, 2020.

Earlier, during a media interaction, when asked how he reacted on being offered the role of Kapil Dev, Ranveer said,

Meanwhile, apart from Kabir Khan’s ’83, Ranveer Singh has also signed up for Karan Johar’s mulit-starrer Takht, which has a stellar cast of Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar.
