Rakul Preet Singh Hopes To Bag More Bollywood Projects

2019 has turned out to be quite a profitable year for actress Rakul Preet Singh. She was seen in two Hindi films this year – De De Pyaar De and Marjaavaan – and both films did terrific business at the box-office. While she is already a popular face in the South Indian film industry, the success of De De Pyaar De and Marjaavaan helped her gain a footing in Hindi cinema as well.

In an interview with a popular publication, Rakul Preet Singh said that she received great response for her work in De De Pyaar De and Marjaavaan and hopes to find more Bollywood projects in times to come. The actress also said that she is looking for projects that help her explore more in terms of script and content.

Rakul Preet Singh has already signed a couple of interesting projects in Bollywood, which are lined-up for theatrical release in 2020. Talking about her process of picking up a role, the actress said that there are a number of factors that play an important role in her decision. She said that the situation varies from project to project, sometimes it is the script of the film and at times it is just about working with a particular actor.

Meanwhile, Rakul Preet Singh is presently busy shooting for her next Hindi film which still remains untitled. The actress has been paired opposite Arjun Kapoor in the movie which is currently being shot in Chandigarh. Bhushan Kumar and Nikkhil Advani are bankrolling the project. She has also given her nod to star in John Abraham’s Attack which also features Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role.

Talking about her South Indian projects, Rakul Preet Singh will next be seen in the Shankar directorial Indian 2. The film also stars legendary actor Kamal Haasan and Siddharth. The actress also has a Telugu film in her pocket which is tentatively titled SK14.
