Priyanka's Mother Madhu Chopra Worried About Her Career In The Beginning

Madhu Chopra said Priyanka evolved "wonderfully" as an actor and as a mother she is with her daughter every step of the way.

Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra made her debut in Bollywood industry three years after she was crowned Miss World 2000. Since her success in Indian films including Andaaz, Aitraaz, and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and others, Priyanka has been riding high on her acting career and marked her name in Hollywood industry with the lead role in TV show Quantico.

During an interview with agency PTI, mother Madhu Chopra revealed that at the first beginning, she was worried about the meteoric rise of her daughter in the film industry. Madhu said Priyanka evolved "wonderfully" as an actor and as a mother she is with her daughter every step of the way.

Recently, the duo mother and daughter are running a production house Purple Pebble Pictures with a focus on Indian regional cinema. The production house is awaiting the release of Firebrand which is the first ever collaboration with Netflix. When being asked about how Priyanka is making films in India even though she is in America, Madhu Chopra replied that her daughter knows how to do things and is very up to date with gadgets through the medium of which she has been controlling her company too.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra's third Hollywood project Isn't It Romantic? released last week and the film will stream on Netflix for Indian channel on February 28. Her next Bollywood film is Shonali Bose-directed The Sky is Pink.
