Priyanka Chopra: Prime Minister Modi’s Words And Blessings Touch Her Heart

Newlywed Bollywood actress has expressed her gratitude to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attending her wedding reception in Delhi.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tied the knot in a fairytale ceremony in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Then the couple hosted a lavish five-day reception Taj Palace hotel in Delhi for their close-knit friends and family members. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was part of the festivities and congratulated the newlyweds.

Priyanka took to social media along with a photo from her wedding reception.

Attending the reception wedding, the PM was dressed in a white kurta-pyjama with a black Nehru jacket, and gifted the couple a red rose. Priyanka Chopra is seen introducing her husband Nick Jonas and his family to Modi in a video on social media. They shook hands and exchanged pleasantries to each other.

The newlywed couple looked stunning as they posed for photographers before meeting the guests at the reception. Priyanka wore a traditional lehenga and Nick opted for a black tuxedo for the evening. The grand reception also welcomed Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities like Rohit Bal, Ritu Kumar, Ritu Beri, Raghavendra Rathore, Rohit Gandhi, Anju Modi, JJ Valaya, Rahul Khanna, Gaurav Gupta, and Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) President Sunil Sethi. Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas were also present at the reception. Wishes have been pouring in for the newly married couple.

The reception wedding was guarded fiercely due to the presence of PM Narendra Modi.
