Pooja Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt are presently working together on the much-awaited film “Sadak 2”, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles. The team recently wrapped up the Mysore schedule of the flick.

Pooja Bhatt, who has not been seen on the silver screen for close to two decades now, is presently busy with her comeback film Sadak 2.

What makes the project even more special for her is the fact that it is being helmed by her father Mahesh Bhatt and also stars her half-sister Alia Bhatt in an important role.

While she has worked with her father on several films before, it is the first time when she has teamed up with Alia Bhatt.

As the title aptly suggests, Sadak 2 is a sequel to Mahesh Bhatt’s 1991 musical hit Sadak, which starred Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.

While Pooja and Sanjay return to reprise their roles in the sequel, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur are the newest addition to the cast.

In addition, Sadak 2 marks the directorial comeback of Mahesh Bhatt after more than a decade. His last film as a director was Zakhm which released way back in 1998.

Pooja Bhatt, who is teaming up with father after a long time, heaps praises on the filmmaker for reigniting a fire in her team.
