Pihu Director Vinod Kapri Wants To Adopt The Abandoned Girl After His Film Pihu

After watching the heart-breaking video of the poor little girl who was abandoned on a garbage dump, Vinod had spotted out her location in Nagaur, Rajasthan and headed to the place to give help.

Recently, director Vinod Kapri and his girlfriend have made headlines for their beautiful act of humanity. After the video of an infant crying helplessly in a garbage dump in Rajasthan went rival on the internet, the couple immediately reached out to provide initial help. Vinod Kapri also revealed that he has applied for the adoption and named the baby girl after his film ‘Pihu’.

Talking to the Hindustan Times, Vinod said that he was in love with the little angle and started going through the long process of adoption. How he didn’t want to talk much about it until it all completes and they are able to bring her home.  “It’s a long process. Don’t want to jeopardize it,” said the director.

He Named Her After His Film Pihu

The little baby who weighed only 1.6 kilograms and had breathing problem was immediately admitted to the hospital right after being found. Vinod also took to social media a video of her on Father’s Day, announcing her new name ‘Pihu’.

Another touching video saw him holding the little girl in his arms with so much love and carefulness.

Vinod’s last drama thriller Pihu which released last year told the story of a 2-year-old girl who was locked at home along after the death of her mother. According to him, the film held a powerful in-line message about parenting.
