Omar Abdullah voices his support to Zaira Wasim after the actress announced her departure from the entertainment industry.

Yesterday, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah showed his support for actress Zaira Wasim after she announced her departure from the entertainment industry through a Twitter post.

Abdullah then assented with her decision to leave the spotlight, saying: "All I will do is wish her well & hope that whatever she does makes her happy."

Earlier, the actress went on to explain her decision after 5 years working in Bollywood with careful consideration. According to Zaira Wasim, she has been struggling to become someone else that she wasn't happy with.


However, the audience can see Zaira Wasim one last time in The Sky Is Pink which stars Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. The Sky Is Pink's producer Sidharth Roy Kapur when being asked for comment about her exit expressed his appreciation for having her in the film, however, say that he would also be supportive of her in every way he could.
