After making a flying start but slow and steady in the second week, Salman Khan-starrer Bharat has entered the coveted Rs 200 crore club.

Despite mixed reviews, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Eid release Bharat has finally crossed Rs 200 crore mark on the day 14 of its theatrical run. After making a flying start but slow and steady in the second week, the film has entered the coveted Rs 200 crore club.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share its box office collection.

For the uninitiated, Bharat had to take more time to accomplish this feat when compared to Salman Khan’s earlier blockbusters Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Both of them had hit the Rs 200 crore milestone just in their opening week. Interestingly, they were both helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

Speaking of Bharat’s records, it collected the Rs 100 crore in the domestic box office on the day 4 of its theatrical run. The megastar also added another feather in his cap as Bharat made it his 14th back-to-back movie listed in the Rs 100 crore club. Not only this, but Bharat also becomes a record-breaking film when shattered several records simultaneously.

Bharat surpassed Salman’s box office hit 2015 Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 39.32) and became the biggest opener in his acting career.

Collecting Rs 42.3 crore on an opening day, the film also toppled Akshay Kumar’s box office hit Kesari (Rs 21 crore).

Once again, congratulations Salman Khan and Bharat film crew!
