Not Jacqueline Fernandez, Deepika Padukone Is Part of Salman Khan’s "Kick 2"?

Bollywood Bhaijaan Salman Khan is one of a few stars who had chances to star opposite almost every A-listed lady of B-town from Katrina Kaif to Madhuri Dixit. However, a collaboration with Deepika Padukone has been on the cards, though it never materialized.

While grapevine was abuzz with the news that the Padmaavat star would be romancing Salman in Ali Abbas Zafar directorial Sultan, Anushka Sharma played a wrestler in the film instead. Now the rumor mill is continuously spread with Deepika might replace Jacqueline Fernandez in the second installment of film Kick.

As per a report from Bollywood Hungama, DP was the initial choice for the female lead in ‘Kick,’ but things seemed not to work out then and the Sri Lankan actress was brought in.

The report further elaborated about the possible role of Deepika in the film as she “can’t play just a typical Salman heroine"

Well, our superstars Salman and Deepika have nearly shared the screen space on some occasions, though this time, it would be safe for their fans to wait for an incredible collaboration from them.

On the work front, Salman Khan is all set to release his upcoming venture Bharat starring opposite Katrina Kaif, while Deepika is currently busy shooting for her next film Chhapaak.
