Dating rumors have been likely to roll around KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty for a long while to open a new relationship between Bollywood and cricket. The two have been spotted to stay side by side when reaching the town for a party with their friends.

While there were some reports stating that KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty are just friends, recently, the duo’s close friend has unveiled the truth about their real relationship. During a talk with Times of India, the friend opened up that the cricketer and actress gradually fell into love with each other. It was also stated that Rahul had no special linkups except friendship with Akansha and Athiya wasn’t the latter to come up.

Even when KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty are busy with their schedules, following the revelation of the close friend, they make efforts to spend time for each other as much as possible. A day ago, the couple returned from their New Year vacation with some close friends in Thailand. The best friend further added that the duo has been in a relationship for a few months.

On the other hand, the Indian cricketer took to his own Instagram to share a picture with the Motichoor Chaknachoor actress. The pic showed him representing a still from the film Hera Pheri which featured Suniel Shetty in the lead role. According to a Bombay Times report, from Athiya’s parents to her sibling, all of her family members take a shine on Rahul. Otherwise, both of them stay silent and don't want to share anything about their linkup and personal life.
