Manushi Chhillar bagged the title of Miss World in the 2017 pageant. At the age of 20, the young star really did India proud by bringing the triumph back to India 17 years after Priyanka Chopra won the crown. And now, Manushi is soon going to venture into the movie industry.

She was born on May 11, 1997, which makes Manushi Chhillar age 23 at the moment. Although she hails from Haryana, she studied in New Delhi at St. Thomas school.
Manushi comes from a doctor family. While her dad is a scientist at Defence Research and Development Organisation, her mom is the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences’ departmental head and associate professor of neurochemistry.

She has also prepared for her acting career by attending the National School of Drama.

Before becoming India’s sixth representative to bag the Miss World contest, she has been the winner of many smaller beauty pageants.
Her pageantry started with the 2016 Fbb Campus Princess, where Manushi Chhillar crowned among the finalists. After that, the young lady went on to be Femina Miss India 2017.
In the contest, she was titled Miss Photogenic and carried on to be the queen of the competition which earned her the ticket to be Indian representative at the 2017 Miss World.
Manushi Chhillar is even more than beauty with brains. The star is a caring, humble girl who wants to bring a difference to the world. As Beauty with a Purpose’s co-winner, she decided to stand up for Project Shakti.
The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness on menstrual hygiene and she managed to help more than 5,000 women while visiting 20 villages.
