Isabelle Kaif, younger sister of Katrina Kaif is all set to debut in the B-town alongside Aayush Sharma, who is the brother-in-law of actor Salman Khan. The movie is a Karan Lalit Butani directorial and is likely to start to be filmed by September this year.
Film critic and journalist Taran Adarsh took the news to Twitter and captioned it, “IT’S OFFICIAL... Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle to debut opposite Aayush Sharma in #Kwatha... Directed by Karan Lalit Butani... Produced by Sunil Jain, Omprakash Bhat, Aditya Joshi, Alok Thakur and Sujay Shankarwar.”
In the upcoming action-drama Kwatha, Aayush Sharma portrays a police officer. Previously, he made a statement, “It’s a huge honour to play an army officer. I’m really looking forward to start shooting for the film.”
The movie is made based on true events and it focuses on the way a man thinks and perceive some specific things after a number of incidents. Kwatha is the product of Cult Entertainment’s Aditya Joshi and Sunil Jain and is helmed by director Butani.
It is most likely that Kwatha will be in production around September and will hit the big screens next year.
Earlier, some sources reported that Isabelle Kaif would debut in Bollywood with a role in Time To Dance directed by Stanley D’costa. It was said that Sooraj Pancholi would be her co-star in this project.
Talking about her younger sister, Katrina Kaif had said in a chat with Hindustan Times, “I’m playing the normal part that any sister would play (laughs). Isabelle is really happy, excited and is working very hard. I have been in the industry for so many years, so there are a lot of places where I can help and impart my suggestions. But the good thing is that she is independent and a strong-minded person. Isabelle’s take on things, as well as the path that she wants to navigate, is clear in her mind. Obviously, there will be certain struggles that she’d have to face on her own, but it’s great that she comes with a huge amount of formal training, as she has spent four years at Lee Strasberg. I am very happy about it as she is coming prepared.”
While there was no mentioning of the film on the actors’ social media platforms, Katrina Kaif posted a photo of her and Isabelle and she captioned it briefly, “didi”. The two siblings are seen sitting side by side and don the same outfit theme which is blue jeans and blacktop.
