Kangana Ranaut Opens Up On Deepika Padukone And Her Film, But With A Surprisingly Kindly Manner

Kangana Ranaut has landed her support for Deepika Padukone-starrer film Chhapaak as her sister and manager Rangoli Chandel is also an acid attack survivor.

Deepika Padukone’s hotly awaited film Chhapaak is all set to hit the theaters. The film which is based on the real life of an acid attack survivor has created quite a buzz ever since the poster was out. However, the temperature was raised exponentially during the film promotions. Recently, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has landed her support for the film as her sister and manager Rangoli Chandel is also an acid attack survivor. She revealed that the trailer of the film reminded her of Rangoli’s struggles.

According to a video doing the rounds on the Internet, the Queen actress expressed her thoughts toward the trailer of Deepika’s film and showered praises on the film crew for doing a film about acid attack survivors.

Elaborating further over the same, the actress got candid that Rangoli’s courage is a huge source of inspiration for her to fight all odds. Kangana and her family want to thank Deepika and director Meghna for doing this film.

It’s obvious that even though Kangana usually makes headlines for her controversial statements taking digs at several Bollywood actors, it seems like Deepika and her film Chhapaak going down well with the actress. She is also one of a few stars who don’t shy away from speaking their minds.

On the work front, the actress is leaving no stone unturned for her upcoming release Panga where she will essay the role of a railway employee and a Kabaddi player named Jaya. it’s helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The film is set to release on 24 January next year according to an Instagram post. Other than Kangana Ranaut, the film also features Richa Chadda, Jassie Gill and Neena Gupta.
