Baazigar – 1993

The film revolves around the story of a cold-blooded killer who has a vendetta. He charms the daughter of a businessman then kills her and makes up his murder like a suicide case. The killer later plots to destroy the rest of this family.

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge – 1995

Two years later, she got her first starring role opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. This is the biggest romantic hit in India.

The film is about the love story of Raj Malhotra (played by SRK) and Simran Singh (played by Kajol). They meet each other during a road-trip across Europe and quickly fall in love. However, Simran is promised to another man in India and that makes Raj decides to follow his lover to her home country to her as well as her father over.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai – 1998

Following the widespread success of 1995 hit, the on-screen couple SRK and Kajol continued to take the box office by storm with yet another blockbuster Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in 1998. The film is not only one of the Kajol hit movies, either Shah Rukh Khan’s, but also the film industry.

Directed by Karan Johar, the film centers a story of a daughter finding the true love for her father Rahul after reading the letter of her late mother written before she passed away.

My Name Is Khan – 2010

Dilwale – 2015

Helmed by Rohit Shetty, Dilwale is one of two highest-grossing releases of Kajol and once again, it was a film with Shah Rukh Khan. The film was a super box office hit with Rs 418.15 crore in the collection.

The movie revolves around the story of Raj and Meera who fall in love with each other but aren’t allowed to be together as they come from two rival mafia families. Years later, the couple gets a second chance as their siblings also fall for each other.

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior – 2020

Last but not least in the list of Kajol hit movies is none other than her latest release, the biographical period action drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The film sees the collaboration of Kajol and her superstar husband Ajay Devgn who also plays the hero of Tanhaji.

Hitting the screen on 10 January 2020, just a few months before the lockdown order was implemented in India, Tanhaji makes the viewers feel on the edge on their seats with breathtaking sequences.

It talks about a Maratha warrior named Tanhaji who is the trusted lieutenant of Shivaji Maharaj. Everything happens when the Mughals start invading and conquering the Kondhana fort. He sets out and reclaims it for his king and his country.
