Jacqueline Fernandez was last seen on the big screen in Tips Films’ action entertainer “Race 3”. She will soon be making her digital debut with a Netflix series titled “Mrs Serial Killer”.

It has been more than a year since Jacqueline Fernandez has not graced the silver screen. Her last release was Remo D’souza’s Race 3 (2018) opposite superstar Salman Khan. Despite heavy promotions, the action entertainer did not live up to the high expectations of the audience. However, it still turned out to be a moderate success. Her much-delayed film Drive (2019) had its Netflix premiere lately, but nobody had anything good to say about the actioner.

Jacqueline Fernandez is presently busy with her upcoming projects, which also includes a web-series marking her debut on OTT. Now, she has announced her association with John Abraham and Rakul Preet Singh’s upcoming Hindi film. Spilling more beans on the untitled project, the actress said at an event, "It is a fantastic film and script. I am coming together again with John and we have Rakul also in this film.”

Talking about the role which Rakul Preet Singh is essaying in the film, Jacqueline Fernandez said, “The one Rakul is doing is brilliant. During the story (narration), I was wondering that Rakul's role is really nice and I am sure that she will do full justice to it. I am very happy that she is a part of the project," the actress concluded. The actress confirmed that she will start shooting for the yet-to-be-titled film in January 2020.

Talking about her other projects, the actress is looking forward to reuniting with Salman Khan on the second instalment of their 2014 blockbuster Kick. The actress is also making her digital debut with a Netflix original titled Mrs Serial Killer. Helmed by Shirish Kunder, the series also features Manoj Bajpayee and Mohit Raina in important roles. Buzz also has it that Jacqueline Fernandez has been roped in to play one of the female leads in the official remake of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt’s cult film Arth (1983).
