It’s Time To Witness The Reunion Of “Love Aaj Kal” Co-Stars Deepika Padukone And Rishi Kapoor?

According to a rumor, Deepika Padukone might collaborate with actor Rishi Kapoor again. In the past, the two have shared the screen space in some projects including 2007 Om Shanti Om and 2009 Love Aaj Kal. After a decade gap, they seem to work together on the upcoming film.

Prior to getting married to Ranveer Singh, Deepika had a long period dating Rishi Kapoor’s son Ranbir. While the ex-couple continued to collaborate in some movies like Tamasha and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani after their breakup, the Love Aaj Kal co-stars had no same films after the rom-com.

Today the Padmaavat actress keeps a cordial relationship with the Kapoor family as she visited Rishi Kapoor when he took cancer treatment in the U.S. The actor, on the other hand, attended her wedding in a special manner.

The 57-year-old actor last appeared in The Body which also featured Sobhita Dhulipala and Emraan Hashmi and the movie is still on the theatres now. Meanwhile, Deepika is prepping for her upcoming movie in January 2020 named Chhapaak which is a biopic of Laxmi Agarwal, a survivor from an acid attack. A couple of days back, the actress also took to her own Instagram to share the trailer of the flick.

In the film, the gorgeous diva will essay the role of Laxmi while Vikrant Massey plays an important character. Meghna Gulzar's directorial will meet a box office clash with Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior starring Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Kajol in the lead roles. The Chhapaak official trailer went on floors on December 10^th and got a lot of positive feedbacks from the audiences as well as many acid attack victims.
