Ishaqzade actor Arjun Kapoor says he is trying to be the best version of himself that his late mother Mona Shourie would have wanted him to be. Actress Divya Dutta tweeted to Arjun Kapoor about an interview the actor had given. She then praised India's Most Wanted actor.
Divya wrote on Twitter, “You have always come across as a very mature guy. But this, sensitivity and sensibility to another level. It's a rarity. Be this magic person always. Big hug." To which, Arjun replied it was an old interview which showed up again.
"But thank you for your kind words. I'm just trying to be the best version of me that my mother would want me to be... These adjectives you used are all her more than me."
For the unaware, India's Most Wanted is a 2019 Indian Hindi language action thriller film directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and starring Arjun Kapoor. The film is about tracking a terrorist in a secret mission and arresting him without firing bullets.
India's Most Wanted is inspired by the arrest of proscribed organization Indian Mujahideen terrorist Yasin Bhatkal also referred to as India's Osama Bin Ladin near the India Nepal Border August 2013.
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will next reunite with Parineeti Chopra in Dibakar Banerjee’s black comedy Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar following which he will appear as Sadashiv Rao Bhau, one of the leaders of the 3rd Battle Panipat in Ashutosh Gowarikar period war drama film Panipat in 2020. Also, he will feature in Anurag Singh’s comedy-drama Singh And Kaur a remake of the 2013 Punjabi romantic comedy opposite actress Amrita Puri.
The actor posted a childhood picture of him with his mother and wrote, "You were my smile and I hope wherever you are I make you smile still... it’s been 7 years since you left us and all your son is asking you is come back na, please(sic)". Arjun Kapoor lost his mom on this day in 2012.
